There is an increasing need within health systems for effective communication between allstakeholders in patients’ care. Effective communication between health professionals and patientshas been found to have a positive impact on decreasing readmission rates, understanding treatment options, saving costs, and improving overall health outcomes for patients. This session addresses multiple examples of improving health workforce communication.
