The second meeting of the EU Health Policy Platform Thematic Network Digital Doc on "Digital skills for future proof doctors" took place on Thursday September 24th via a webinar focused on Experiences, best practices, and future scope'. Irene Athanassoudis, (DG SANTE, European Commission) opened the session and introduced the speakers and the focus of the webinar. The invited speakers provided provide a unique insight on the topics that were addressed. First, Jarmo Reponen, MD PhD (Professor of Practice, Healthcare Information Systems, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu, Finland & Project leader MEDigi, Finland) followed by Georg Dorffner, PhD (Curriculum Director for Medical Informatics, Medical University of Vienna, Austria; Project Leader DSKC, Austria) and Sophia Hodgkinson EMSA Health Policy Director, European Medical Students' Association (EMSA). The discussion at the end was moderated by Dr. Andrea Woltman PhD (Thematic Network Leader Digital Doc, Director of Bachelor in Medicine, Erasmus MC University Medical Center Rotterdam, The Netherlands).
