A Symposium on the Future of Digital Health Systems in the European Region, run by the World Health Organisation, explores cultivation of a digitally capable health workforce. The event will take place on 6-8 February 2019 at UN City in Copenhagen and aims to bring together evidence and experience to show how organizations and governments can adopt digital health to reduce inequalities and improve the health and well-being of populations. Country representatives will share digital health activities currently underway and how digital technologies can empower individuals and health-care workers. One of the sessions will delve into enablers, challenges and gaps of cultivating a digitally capable health workforce. The event is delivered together with the Norwegian Centre for E-Health Research.
