The Thematic Network on Medical Training and Professional Development for Patient Safety has recently published the first draft version of the joint statement which is now available for comment by stakeholders. The final joint statement will be a collaborative document and the group co-ordinators (The European Society of Radiology) have called for input. The draft document has been produced the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), the European CanCer Organisation (ECCO), the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME), the European Patients' Forum (EPF), the European Hospital and Healthcare Federation (HOPE) and the European Society of Radiology. Comments are due by 16th October 2017.
