BMC Health Services Research, Volume 20, Supplement 2 "The Physician and Professionalism Today: Challenges to and strategies for ethical professional medical practice"

We would like to share a series of recent articles edited by INHWE member Dr. Jean-Pierre Unger and colleagues from the Institute of Health and Society, University of Newcastle about being a professional physician today. The articles aim to address several issues related to the education of doctors and other health professionals.

"Imagine that physicians could multiply their impact on people’s health and improve community health whilst tailoring the delivery of care to each individual patient. The ambit of the present supplement is to say how, with a public health insight into medical practice and physicians’ professionalism".
