EUPHA-HWR spring webinar series, Thursday 17th March 2022, 13:00 - 14:00 CET
On Thursday 17th March 2022, 13:00 - 14:00 CET, the Health Workforce Research section of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) hosts a webinar to discuss mental health protection and violence prevention for the health workforce in the EU.
"More than two years of the COVID-19 pandemic have left the health workforce facing aconstantly high workload, stress and moral challenges and increasingly also hate and violenceespecially from those refusing vaccination. These experiences threaten the health and wellbeing of individual healthcare professionals and urgently need greater attention in healthpolicy and pandemic protection and recovery plans. They will cause burn-out and resignations, and will thus reinforce existing health labour market shortages. This webinar provides newempirical data and discusses the need for new approaches to health workforce managementthat pay greater attention to mental health services and protection from violence".
The event is jointly organised by the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME), and the EUPHA. Chairs: Sarada Das, CPME and Ellen Kuhlmann, EUPHA-HWR
