On 24 August 2018, the European Commission published a call for applications for the selection of members of an Expert Group on Access to and re-use of Private Sector Data for Public Interest Purposes.The objective of the expert group is to endorse a framework for Business-to-Government (B2G) data sharing, on the basis of the guidance document published by the Commission on 25 April 2018 and to provide the Commission with recommendations on future policy and funding initiatives in the area of private sector data sharing with public bodies for public interest purposes.
