Leadership Questions
The VRHealthLeaders project will use virtual reality as a primary tool for leadership training. We believe VR can improve healthcare systems by broadening the experiences of healthcare leaders thus providing better outcomes, services and quality to patients across the EU. Virtual reality simulation offers educators the chance to provide students with experiential learning that they would otherwise not have available to them. In this project we will use virtual reality (applicable in both low and high fidelity settings) to increase the leadership capabilities of future healthcare managers and policy makers by using public health crises as the key theme of the training.
IPE Questions
The iPEG Digital Board Game Project (iPEG-Online) will reinforce the ability of higher education and training institutions to provide high quality, inclusive, digital education to future healthcare professionals in an interprofessional manner. Interprofessional Education (IPE) is now a cornerstone of educating a health workforce that is ready for collaborative, team-based practice. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has left healthcare educators with limited tools for teaching IPE as such learning would usually take place in the classroom. The iPEG-Online project will ensure that an innovative, customisable tool exists to achieve positive interprofessional learning outcomes for students across Europe and beyond.
