INHWE Online 2021
The International Network for Health Workforce Education hosts two types of event each year: one flagship International Congress of Health Workforce Education & Research and a number of smaller Regional Conferences of Health Workforce Education & Research. In 2021 we're holding our events entirely virtually, online, supported by our wonderful community of educators, researchers and trainers.
Coming Up Next
#INHWEOnline2021 Virtual Conference of Health Education and Research
We invite all INHWE members to attend the upcoming Virtual Conference of Health Education and Research (Online) which is scheduled for the first week of September 2021. In addition to a knowledge-rich agenda of multiple presentations focussing on the current trends in medical education, the event named #INHWEOnline2021 will host the Final Conferences of two innovative Erasmus+ projects funded by the European Commission:
- SAFEMEDIC Final Conference, Wednesday 1st September 2021
The SAFEMEDIC Project aims to improve the workplace safety of healthcare professionals by increasing their skills and competences in dealing with difficult situations. To achieve the project aims the consortium has produced complex multi-stakeholder, inter-disciplinary course for healthcare students, predominantly focused at paramedics and nurses.
- STORYAidEU Final Conference, Wednesday 1st September 2021
If you are a health sector professional, educator and/or student willing to explore a new, interprofessional model of healthcare training, STORYAidEU is the right project for you with our final outcomes being a training guide/coursebook, learning videos and an interactive lecture explaining how storytelling can improve humanism in healthcare.
These meetings will involve a broad and diverse range of health stakeholders to present the projects' results, discuss their impact on the European health workforce, and formulate concrete proposals for the future of a strong healthcare policy in the European Union. Further information will be available within the next weeks. For all kind of inquiries, don't hesitate to contact us.
> Networking and Dissemination Opportunities
With the aim of facilitating interviews with registered delegates on their research topics and to ensure that our excellent presentations are disseminated beyond the event, we will run a comprehensive social media campaign via #INHWEOnline2021 on Twitter. After the Virtual Conference, a INHWE members only virtual interview space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to take part in one of these videos and interviews then please contact us.
