A new journal, Aesculapius, recently launched with many members of INHWE involved. The journal publishes manuscripts from standard categories: original research, reviews, editorials, case reports and conference proceedings in basic science, clinical research, social aspects of healthcare, healthcare simulation, innovative teaching methods, leaner and program assessment, and healthcare policy making.
Authors are welcomed from a broad range of disciplines, to include (but not limited to): all healthcare disciplines, academic medicine, including simulation specialists and standardized patient educators. We will consider research using sound methodology: observational and analytical studies, qualitative research, randomized controlled trials, implementation research, systematic reviews, and patient education. If you have questions about the applicability of your project for this journal, please contact us.
Support from the University of South Dakota University Libraries and The USD Sanford School of Medicine allows us to offer the journal to all with open access and no fees. Find out more here: https://red.library.usd.edu/aesculapius/
